¿Habéis oído hablar de los wayús?

Son el pueblo indígena que habitan la árida península de la Guajira al norte de Colombia, sobre el mar Caribe.

Ellos expresan su creatividad, inteligencia y sabiduría a través de su mayor dedicación; tejer.

Sus representaciones simbolizan elementos de la naturaleza, como animales, naturaleza… que rodean la vida cotidiana del Wayúu.

Las mochilas están hechas de forma totalmente artesanal y con tejidos de máxima calidad por la mujer de la tribu colombiana, ninguno de ellos es igual al otro, todos son totalmente distintos.

Ilusionada estoy con esta joya que me han traído expresamente de Cartagena de Indias, que buen rollito sentir esa energía especial que ponen los wayús en su manera de sentir la vida a través de lo que mejor saben hacer.

The wayus or "guajiros" are the indigenous people who live the arid Guajira peninsula to the North of Colombia on the Caribbean Sea.

They express their creativity, intelligence, and wisdom through their greater dedication; weaving.

Their representations symbolize elements of nature, like animals, nature... that surround the daily life of the Wayuu.

The backpacks are made completely handcrafted and fabrics of the highest quality by the women of the wayuu Colombian tribe, none of them is equal to the other, all of them are totally different.

I am proud to wear this backpack from Cartagena de India. It make me feel special energy that they put on what they know best to do in life.
